About
A small studio in Tbilisi.
Marmaria is a one-bench studio making silver jewelry by hand. No factory. No catalogue. Just slow work, an old kitchen scale, and a stubborn belief that what you wear should mean something.
Independent jewelry design inspired by the past. Marmaria combines the grit of stainless steel with the intricate details of Christian symbolism and Gothic history. From simple forms to complex, hand-linked structures, the brand focuses on creating bold, enduring art for those who value authentic craftsmanship.

How a piece is made
Every Marmaria piece begins as a sketch in graphite, usually on the back of something else. The form lives there for days — sometimes weeks — until it’s clear enough to take to the bench.
Then: silver wire or a poured ingot, a flame, a hammer, files, patience. Cast pieces are finished by hand and intentionally left with the marks of the work. The goal is not perfection but presence.
Each finished piece is photographed against black, weighed, listed once, and sent. We don’t carry stock of multiples we haven’t made.
What we believe
That objects matter. That heavy silver is honest. That gothic doesn’t mean grim — it means paying attention to the weight of things. That you should be able to wear a piece for ten years and still find new corners in it.
